Long Days, Big Smiles
Every trade show has it's moments of high and low traffic. Sometimes, the Commercial Flooring booth is packed to capacity with Designers checking out the huge display of products offered. Other times, everyone can catch their breadth. Here, Marketings Kent Clauson and Gwen Bogle take a moment to relax to review the days events.

Having Fun Under the Big Top
The Armstrong Ceiling & Walls booth has gotten a lot of attention at the show. We have a Ringmaster welcoming guests to the Greatest Ceiling and Walls Show on Earth, handing out entry forms for a sweepstakes for Cirque du Soleil tickets. We also have a juggler, unicyclists and master baloon crafter. Here Steve Senkowski and Dawn Chittick watch as an Octupus appears before their eyes (and above their heads).

SoundScapes Shapes at NeoCon 2008
Lissa Blyth talks about the Armstrong family of SoundScapes® Shapes Acoustical Clouds which includes ten standard shapes, ranging from squares and rectangles to circles, trapezoids, hexagons and softly rounded contours. Designed for use in exposed structures and other areas that require improved acoustics, the clouds can be installed as individual units or grouped together to create innovative visual combinations that help define the area below. The sound absorbing properties of the clouds help reduce reverberation time in the space below them. As a result, they are ideal for use over spaces such as workstations and reception desks.

Meeting and Greeting Designers from Around the World
Greg Wilson and Randy Gablehouse have been very excited about the turnout this year and the Armstorng Commercial Flooring booth. Visitors have been impressed with the depth and breadth of the products Amrstrong offers and have been asking a lot of questions about how the BioBased Tile meets LEED requirements. Many are getting a demo of ecoscorecard and have mentioned that it is a tool they will use once they get back to their office.
Axiom Building Perimeter System
Armstrong Ceilings has introduced the industry’s first pre-engineered solution to the transition between the ceiling plane and the interior of a building’s perimeter. The new Armstrong Axiom® Building Perimeter System provides an easy-to-specify, integrated approach to the inclusion of drapery pockets, window shades, air diffusers and changes in ceiling elevation at the perimeter. Gregg Maberry showed visitors how.
